An Original Painting by a Local Artist

"Gemstone Park" About the Artist... Bob Karp Some of you may remember "Karpie" as your old mathematics instructor. Bob taught math in ISD 191 from 1967 to 1983 at Metcalf Jr. High and Burnsville Senior High. He then became a financial planner with his own independent firm in Burnsville until his retirement. Later, Bob enrolled in formal painting classes in 2007 and manages to dab at his canvas much more seriously than he addresses his golf ball during the winters in The Villages, Florida. He also spends considerable time and effort as a volunteer guardian ad litem in Florida. You can find him in Prior Lake during the warmer months, where he continues painting with his five grandchildren. Return to Auction Page.
